So, it's down the last couple of weeks before school starts again, and my last semester of university. I'm looking forward to going back; I've been feeling restless. But today, I was wasting time on Pinterest when I came across these lovely posters: This got me really thinking about my own resume (which I still have to update and trim down), and I wondered what employers are looking for when they initially glance through someone's resume. Obviously, it differs from profession to profession, but I do have to admit, the resumes on the right that have gone through a "makeover" are much more attractive. So, I was curious (for someone who will be applying to teaching jobs in a year) about whether it would be better to stick to the traditional black and white format or if flashier/attractive designs are better. Any ideas?
